When I last posted, my blog ended with the results of really being led by Jehovah- to a house full of refugees who were very grateful, and hungry for spiritual truths. A house that none of us had a call in. Really sticking out in my mind, is how they pulled chairs up closeby us, to hear what we had to say- eagerly leaning with wide eyes and big smiles. After a solid 20 minute discussion, we had to leave though, for we were on the way to the meeting for service when we met them in the first place- and it was almost going to start (Emile had to conduct). We only had one Arabic brochure (their mother tongue) to give them.
Well there was a group out that night, five came out and that was very nice to see! It just so happens we had a huge huge supply of literature in Arabic, and were trying to find those for whom could use it and appreciate it. So after conducting the meeting for service, Emile told the group in his French accent , "We have territories, but first we will make the fastest return visit"!
The "Shuukran" 's kept coming (the thank you's in Arabic) as we left their home. How happy they were to get such spiritual food! How awesome a feeling it was for us all- to have seen and experienced this together! We all got to have a share, a part in this experience.
Truly Jehovah's guiding hand is seen, is felt. Without him and his guidance this work is impossible. Results like this are proof of this fact. Amazing experiences like this go on EVERYDAY here...and are going on all over the world.
Hope you enjoyed reading this, mahalo for coming by! Stay tuned for part 3 of this blog if you want to hear the basics of how service goes on here, and updates of what's been happening lately. "Sha-LOHA"!
